All super images. I think the first one is my favourite, but perhaps the last one...
The second one is a super fungus (fly agaric?) but the background is less pleasing than 1 or 4. All great though, love 'em.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

The 'fluffy brown one', as David calls it above, is quaint in the way it's cocking its head (and fluffily detailed). And I agree with Bill - great light on the last one.

All beautiful but the subject of 1 and lighting of 4 work best in my absolutely unprofessional opinion. Interested also in what mini tripod you refer to!

Thanks for your comment, I'd previously used the little Manfrotto mini tripod, which wasn't man enough for the Z so by recommendation on another forum, I purchased one of these
Very well made, supports the Z plus the 120mm macro plus a ext tube with no problem, the link is just to the legs, they do a kit with a decent ball head which is what I went for.

That's great, thanks for this Chris! Just need to grab myself a cheap, little light now and I'm away to go on the macro front!

For anyone interested in the Moman tripod as advised by Chris above, the link above is for some 'nearly new' ones with the ball head for a good price! I've bought one, should be arriving towards the end of the week - 9 left at last look.

It's good at £50, an absolute steal at £20

I ordered one too so thanks for the heads up. Seems really a really good quality product (both the tripod and the ball head) especially at that eBay price. While sold as used it appears brand new. Recommended.
Also foundYT review of it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXfdjWKAS0E

Very welcome. I concur, mine's pristine... it even comes with the straps that thread through the legs, so you can attach it to posts or trees or suchlike!
