What a brilliant use of pop-up flash. How well it works with the depth of field to lend a 3D effect to this shot.

So, does it matter if it's weed? Nature has its beauty in many ways, and here you have captured one of them with great success.

Does not matter to me. I only found out when the wife saw the image. I wasn't up to speed though as I should have asked her why there are weeds in the garden....??????So, does it matter if it's weed? Nature has its beauty in many ways, and here you have captured one of them with great success.

I wouldn't. You might find the answer is "because you haven't picked them out yet!" before your camera is ripped out of your hand and replaced with a trowel!

I was told that weeds are simply any plant that's growing in the wrong place.
So, if it looks good, and not causing a problem, it's NOT a weed.
