That is stunningly beautiful Mark, a real eye-popper of an image. Did you light it with natural or artificial light?

I used two Yongnuo flashes on about 128th and 1 second shutter in the dark with mirror up.

The lens had to be stopped down so much to get the whole drop in focus (or shoot from further back and crop), that the image became noisy and soft.
This one turned out ok tho. Web-size at least. Won't go much bigger, which is ironic
I love the way two drops have been stopped at that moment of symmetry
Incidentally, I am finding the Z is not better at extreme macro at all. There's definitely a beautiful quality to normal macro, but I haven't got anywhere near the magnification of a K5 with its vast armory of available lenses and adapters. I'll keep plugging away tho...
