Warbirds at North Weald

A couple of photos taken at North Weald in April when they held a warbirds event. Not billed as an airshow but a good day out all the same although the weather was a bit of a let down :? Taken with a K-7 and a Tamron 17-50 which I purchased the week before S/H. Rob

But I guess yes the P-38 would sound nice, not quite as majestic as a Lancaster on take off though

Quite right. Four Merlin engines wide open is something to remember forever.

I wasn't too sure about the Tamron 17-50 when I first bought it but I'm pleased with the results and it's so compact and light for a F2.8 lens.
