I've purchased a lens from the USA, certainly expect to pay import duty and some customs clearance charges.

As far as I know digital cameras are exempt from import duty, unlike lenses and other gear. I will have to pay the Irish VAT of 23%, but even after that Adorama's price is good.

No import duties to UK on camera bodies.
you also have the option to pay the taxes upfront, (cheaper) then nothing else to pay when you get it....
Spend some cash and enjoy your camera....
Might be worth looking to see what deals they are doing, you might get a "free" flash and battery grip like I did a few months ago....

The search is over. Adorama had a used K-3 for $599, and I just took the plunge. Thanks to k10D for the link!
