Perhaps I can sell one for 130euro+ cost of the shipping.
It is a pentax 50 1,7 AF but you must wait until next week.

I'have written 130 euro not 130£..
I will sell for about 115£ + cost of the shipping.
Mike-P I'he seen sold his 50 1.7 for about 130£ with shipping.

I would agree with the suggestions of the FA 50mm 1.4.
A very sharp lens for the money and 2 year warranty at SRS.

I had 50 1,4 and I sold it because with k20d the 50 1,7 was better.

Never tried the 1.7 one but I must agree with what Mike and the other say, the 1.4 is absolutely great, the exact words from one of the forum members a few months ago were "achingly sharp"

Really.I had 50 1,4 and I sold it because with k20d the 50 1,7 was better.
I will have to try the 1.7 I got with my MX on my K20D and do some comparisons. I cannot believe any lens could be sharper than my 1.4, sounds silly but this lens is nearly too sharp.

The f1.4 designs are contrastier, which might make them seem sharper. This is of course because they are ideal for low light and reportage shots.

I fully agree with what John says about the low light on this one. Even with my limited experience I can clearly see how great this lens is in low light. Its amazing how when you really think you can't snap anything without flash and you attach this lens and the images come as a stunner, and at a pretty fine shutter speed as well to avoid any blurs or movements

Yes but you forget Ebay and Paypal fees plus the most important fact which is 90% of people that buy from there are total nutters and will pay almost anything not to be beaten in an auction.

Oh, how I wish that were true! 90% of people that buy from there are total nutters and will pay almost anything not to be beaten in an auction.
Most of my high value auction items now end up overseas, no doubt helped by the weakness of the Pound.
It is however quite true that sometimes two (it only takes two) bidders get involved in a competitive situation, and that helps the prices to go up immensly. As a seller I don't mind that too much. As a buyer...well, these days I just put in my bid and then don't look again.
Best regards, John
