There is an FA version for sale on the other Pentax forum US$550, no hood though.

Thanks Clarky, but I am looking specifically for the A series one, which is unfortunately very hard to find.

ffordes.com has one for 239GBP but I think it´s without the hood.

Have a little patience. They are not easy to find but do exist. As it happens I purchased mine with hood from another forum member here about 3 years ago.

Mine is not for sale and is currently residing very happily on my Super A.

The hood is almost impossible to find, but as it happens the same hood is used for one of the 645 lenses (can't remember which one), which is how I got mine.

If you're looking for lens to use on film then I can heartily recommend the A20. However I didn't find it a great performer on digital, which is why I sold it to Ian. Instead, I would suggest buying the DA 21 / DA 16-45 or DA* 16-50, all of which are better performers on digital than the A20.

Another possibility would be the Voigtlander SLII 20mm, which is reputably a great performer on both media and not that expensive.

What about the FA 20-35 f4, not as fast but a very good performer, not many of them around either but not as rare as the A 20mm I suspect.

Would you guys say $40 is a decent price for the hood in great condition? That's what I'm offered right now.

Further to Clarky's suggestion, the M version of the 20-35 is highly thought of, too. And if you were to look at Ebay......
