Cheers. Is there much difference between the different brands? Some prices vary greatly.

I do know someone who has just changed from BR Straps to the Joby one .
He finds that the padding on the Joby is better

That looks very similar to the Luma-Labs Cinch.
I hope Luma-Labs aren't going to miss out on one of their designs yet again.
Edit, and yet again it is impossible to leave the QR plate in place .

I'm not sure what you mean by a clip, but I use a Kata reflex E strap for my K200D. It's extremely comfortable (thick neoprene) and can be clipped to the shoulder straps of a compatible backpack to take the weight off the neck/shoulder. It cost me €20.

I have an Arca Swiss QR plate.
Just had a mail to say my Luna-Labs Cinch is on it's way
They have had problems with a supplier but will be back in production this week hopefully if anyone is interested in one.

I have a Black Rapid RS4 and really like it. It's much more comfortable for me when I've got a big lens (300mm F4 or Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 ). Can keep it ready at my side and even push it behind my back when moving through crowds. Find it easy to bring up to the eye. Even with smaller lenses I hated having the camera bouncing around on my chest so this is a great solution for me.A few people have recommended Black Rapid- link

Some people are worried about the tripod socket connector working loose but it's been fine for me.

I'm looking for a shoulder strap for my K-7.
Ideally one that has a 'clip' to lock the camera if I want when it's at hip level.
