Wanted: Pentax K5

Hey people. So it's time to upgrade to K5 from my beloved Kr. Please send me a message if you have one in very good condition, preferably not one with thousands of actuations

Given the K5 is Pentax's top model presently (excluding the 645D) and one of the best by any manufacturer I doubt many users here would want to part with theirs until they too have something to upgrade to. Nothing on eBay?

The K5 is at one of the lowest prices it has been in its "Life-cycle", not many people on here are likely to want to part with theirs (as yet at least) because firstly they will probably lose a fair chunk of money (most will have bought at a higher price than now) and secondly there is no better model in the Pentax line-up (645D excluded of course ).

Given that you are unlikely to find one that is significantly cheaper than the current new prices it may be worth pushing yourself that little bit extra to buy a new one (assuming you can). Alternatively, as DonaldM suggests, get a second hand one from a reputabale dealer.

I had the K20 previously and held it in very high regard, but for me the K5 is a significant improvement and I don't regret the purchase

Clifton Cameras do a 12 months interest free deal and Jessops do a 10 months deal. I got my K7 from Jessops that way but saved up for the K5, from Clifton Cameras, (SRS out of stock ) and am awaiting the £80 cash back to go towards something else, depending on Mrs Snap's requirements of course.
