Wanted: Pentax K-r

Hi folks, I know they're still fairly new on the market but if anyone has, or knows where to find, a used K-r (with or without lens) I'm interested in buying one!

LCE has one listed on their website but has actually been sold, so someone's got to be quite happy today!

Optionally, if anyone knows of a price better than the £489 at SRS that may also be an option.

Hi, I was just about to tell you about the lce one! saw it over the weekend but decided on the k-x new. Just had a quick search of a few camera shops I know of and I think the srs price is probably pretty good and I know you get great service with them.

If I were smart that's what I'd do, but the price has come up on it a bit and there's not that much difference between a used K-r and a new K-x.

The only major down side is warranty, so I'm kind of on the fence leaning about 60% towards a K-r unless there's a really great deal to be had on a K-x.

Though I really like how the K-r looks

I guess we can change this to 'Acquired' now.

where did you get one used, I looked all over for one and couldn't find anything. had to give in and buy new. good luck to you though, well done. I think you will be pleased, only had mine a day but really impressed with it so far. hope you enjoy, glad I was some help.

It must have come in at LCE over the weekend or this morning because it just showed up on the website at Leamington about two hours ago with some other Pentax stuff. It's not listed now but at £229 I couldn't pass it up!

It's actually a gift, so I'm really happy about the bargain as I can get a lens now, too

There's one at Bristol but at £349 it seemed over-priced, which was why I was looking at the K-r for £399.
