except it's shipped from HK so you need to pay 17.5% VAT on top of this!? no?

got the lens, had to pay VAT but got it all back from the company.

I know. Also got a flash, 2 filters and The Bang Bang club book. All for Xmas.
I'm taking pictures of a friend's baby so will have 1 outing with the lens and flash before Xmas.

I'm looking for a fixed aperture zoom lens, such as:
Tamron 17-50mm f2.8
Sigma 18-50mm f2.8
or similar
I don't think I want a Tamron 28-75 f2.8
