Wanted - faulty bodies

ok, bear with me and I'll explain...

So far I've converted three digital bodies to IR by changing the internal filter, two of those have been converted twice. Two bodies were pretty much the same (the Samsung GX1L and the *ist DL), and I learned the hard way that the card door open switch on the main board will be broken off if you take the back off with the door closed. I'm familiar with the *ist variants and the K-m.

In stripping each camera I take detailed pictures of every step so I can see how to put it all back together - there are numerous different coloured wires in small spaces.

I know this is a long shot, but has anyone got one of the later bodies that doesn't actually work or has a serious fault? I'd be interested in using such a thing to learn the mechanics of the disassembly/reassembly, especially on those with weather seals.

I'd pay postage obviously, and if the camera still has some residual value then that's negotiable.

It sounds interesting. I assume that's from a fairly severe drop. Let me know by PM what you want for it, I'll pay postage. I'm interested in how it differs from the K-m and K-r inside.
