Wandering round Winchester

Here are some shots I took in Winchester last year, will try and improve some of them. Coudn't go to the round table as there was a wedding on.




This house below looksrather Georgian. You can imagine in the days of the horse drawn vericle pulling up at the door.




I thought only Coventry had one of these.




Found this by the old castle




Not many shops have these signs now. Not many people could read years ago, so they had red and white bars to represent barbers shops, and Boots of the day had coloured fluid in glass jars in the windows.

I like the nice tight compositions you've made there, and you've certainly found quite a few interesting objects around that old town.

Ah, a City I used to spend a lot of time in when I was in my late teens and early 20's. I went back there about a year ago and not much has outwardly changed.

Blimey it must be Winchester day

Nice set Aura. I recognise all the locations you have shot. I stroll past them all every day. Very much take Winchester for granted these days.
