A super sharp and detailed image, John.
I love this camera which has to be one of the best value compacts around. It constantly amazes me when I see the results back home. White balance and exposure are so reliable and that lens is special. The IS system allowed me to take a series of hand held shots indoors at ISO 400 with perfectly acceptable grain and sharpness.
We're off abroad in January and I'll happily take the MX-1, leaving the DSLRs at home.

I was quite impressed with the detail and crispness of the MX-1's 1cm macro setting. I'm using the camera more and more for eBay images as it's so verstile.
