What was it priced at, out of interest? I have an M42 copy and it's a great lens, lovely to use.

I've got it in K mount and it's beautifully built.

As for that matter is the 35mm in M42 mount I have.

Does anybody know if Vivitar 'made' any more lenses of this quality? The various 28mms I've seen with the Vivitar badge on are clearly from a different place all together....

The two different versions of the 28mm f/2 (Kiron and Komine) are both very good indeed, though of course not as sharp as the 55/2.8 wide open.
