I'd stand a better chance of winning if I was blindfold, the way I'm shooting at the moment
Getting there! Thanks to you guys

Hi Bob, all looks familiar to me, my sister used to live in Primrose Lane. I guess you know where that is ? We also have friends that live in the area.

Nice pics.

Sorry Deryn - just noticed your reply now - but Primrose Lane is exactly where I was stood! It's a small world....

I was up there again tonight taking some more shots, all with the Tammy:

Hi Snootchies,

The last pic with the sun low and central in the image is my fav of the lot. Great colours and I particularly like the way the cloud has coloured edges.

The more I see you post shots with the tammy the more I want one!

Hi Bob, that's why I mentioned the lane as I was sure you took the pics from there. It's a great view driving or walking down isn't it.

Great pics.

Really like the 3rd shot Bob, with the
reflection of the sun in the water.

Cheers for the comments chaps.

I'm also quite impressed how my close up of the Liverpool skyline came out. That was cropped very heavily from 300mm, and is probably the equivalent field of view I'd get if I shot at about 1200mm.

You can just make out the Cathedral in the distance on the last shot towards the right, and that was at 70mm.

Well I've just sealed the box with nice FRAGILE tape which shouldn't draw attention to it !
Shame it's sealed or I could have included a fake bill of sale for £500 in case your missus opened it by mistake
