I couldn't agree more with the comments on the DFA 100 - it is great to have on the camera in a garden - great for shots like this, or push the camera a bit closer and you can get bees, bugs and butterflies (assuming they stay (fairly) still long enough)

I assume you mean compared to a zoom lens, I've tried my Samsung version as a street lens and, although some shots were fine, I found the focal length limiting in a busy street.
In a garden though...
K110+DA40, K200+DA35, K3 and a bag of lenses, bodies and other bits.
Mustn't forget the Zenits, or folders, or...
PPG entries.
