I am anti Amazon....
So if I was going to buy a new camera, I would rather go to a camera shop. Fair enough I'd pay more, but the service and back up is there if needed....
If we don't support these shops, we'll eventually lose that experience and knowledge!

Sadly for me purchasing Pentax kit (new or used) is now almost always an 'online' experience as none of my local camera shops stock Pentax anymore. SRS tends to get most of my business - one day I may even visit the shop !!!

But you're still using a shop.... not the horrid entity that is Amazon. Since SRS stopped hiring out Pentax kit, I've found Amazon to be an excellent replacement. Try with Amazon, buy with SRS. Ahem....
