V1.03 update

step 8 says

When update is completed, the "COMPLETE" will be displayed at the left bottom of the LCD monitor, then turn the camera off.

Mine is stuck on updating phases 2/2 with the card read light flashing! It does say complete in the bottom left. Any one else had this issue?
Is it safe to turn off? mind you the battery will eventually run out

Yes it's safe to turn it off if complete is in the corner.

phrew was having a panic then when it did not auto switch off and looked like it was busy writing to the SD card

But started up ok with V1.03 loaded
