I use 'em sometimes when I'm bored but can take 'em or leave 'em if I'm honest.

If anyone on here has been making videos with their Pentax I'm sure that they will have told us about it in General Chat?
A section for video has been mooted before but so few people ever mention video it's hardly worthwhile. It is subsumed everywhere else in the relevant section to the exact subject.
By contrast, we had a section added for Mirrorless straight away, while there was still time to handle all the threads popping up and move them into it. An immediate and obvious demand and an immediate response to it.

I never have and never will shoot video and I think the majority of the people on the forum are the same, so it might be a hard place to get a dialogue going.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with video, but this forum is pretty still-photo based.
I would assume there are better fora out there for video with people who have more knowledge, skill and expertise and therefore would be far more likely to elicit useful information.

I would of said that the reson for the videos for newbies and every one who would like to know new things i for one didnt know how to do the snow what shaun put on and i bet that a lot didnt as well,so for videos like that i would have said helps? But then again we all cant be pros but a man who clams to know all no notthink at all?

i think that some have talen the wrong end of the stick here iam very sorry if you have i mean Photography Tutorials videos

I agree that some posters have misinterpreted what you wrote in the opening post of the thread.
An alternative might be to make the threads containing video tutorials stickies so they stay at the top of the forum.

Why not start a thread and ask people just to post links? The mods could remove any off-topic discussions.

I Would like to say i do these videos just to help another site, i post them on Pentax as well as i use Pentax.I was asked by the owner from the site to do some so i did.
If i put them on here as well and if it helps people out then that great.
but please don't have a vote on it! if no one wants to see them they don't have to look.

Well, I watched Shaun's video and loved it. I also think there should be a section on the forum for video work. In the long run, as technology get better it will, in my opinion one day superseed still cameras. As digital has with film. We shouldnt keep our heads in the sand.

I know we have some written on the Latest News and Articlesdown bit but no videos like these.
I do think it could be a good help and do know that others from the site have made videos and put them utube and all with pentax. Also i know that some put links on but its all ways from people from the dark side or no one from pentax? it would be nice to here from you all.
