Utrecht

I managed to take a few photos before and after my meeting in Utrecht today. Not too much time and a bit of a grey day but the occasional splash of blue through the clouds. There is a bit of a theme...

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I only had about 30 minutes before my meeting and an hour and a half after my meeting so not much time for setting up compositions. I did miss one lovely shot of a lady cycling carrying two bunches of flowers --- I was swapping lenses when when the traffic lights changed. The biggest shock was getting back to Luton Airport to discover my motorcycle covered in snow and a blizzard. Made riding home more interesting than I like!

Best wishes, Kris.

Kris,

Lovely shots. Great reflections on the water.

I especially like Ora et Labora.

Thanks for sharing!

The reflections are well spotted, especially this very last one. Nice set.
