Pentax aren't the only people to make over-priced accessory viewfinders for their cameras. Have you seen the cost of some of the Leica optional viewfinders for their rangefinders? On the other hand, this little gadget appears to work well and isn't too expensive.

When in doubt one can always compare prices to Leica and feel like a responsible citizen. Perhaps this is how Pentax themselves comes up with their pricing scheme?
