Are there any Digital camera Bodies that will use my existing Pentax ME (Film) Camera lens.

You can, as far as I know, use any Pentax K-mount lens on any Pentax (or Samsung) DSLR body. The only thing to watch for is that some third party lenses also have Ricoh program contacts which foul the autofocus link to the lens.

All Pentax digital SLR's (and their Samsung clones) can use Pentax lenses from the 1950's onwards, so that certainly covers any you may have used with your ME.

You will notice that the field of view changes as the digital sensor is smaller than a 35mm film frame (so a 50mm lens on digital will look like a 75mm lens did on film, etc). The lens in use will also determine in which modes the camera can be used. For example; a lens that is entirely manual (like a Pentax M-series) will require you to operate the camera manually (stop down metering, manual focus, etc) so generally more modern lenses are more convenient. Old prime lenses rarely give anything away in terms of image quality though.

Assuming that the lens on the ME is a K mount (rather than an M42 screw fit - if it just clips straight onto the ME without any sort of adapter then it's a K mount) then it'll fit any Pentax DSLR. You just need to change a setting in the menus to allow the use of the aperture control ring, set the camera to manual focus, and use Manual or Av modes.

You can use the earlier M42 lenses but you need an adapter, ideally a genuine Pentax one as some of the 3rd party types don't allow you to focus to infinity. The camera won't hold the aperture open, stop down to take the photo, then open it up again as it does with K mount lenses.
