Like them both for different reasons; first one is nice & sharp with soft oof background, whereas the second has an overall subtlety to it (presumably a wide-ish aperture?)

The A 1.7 and the A macro 2.8 50mms produce the same stunning results. I particularly like the crisp contrast of the petal edges in the 1st one.

I use both my m 50 1.7 and DA50 and the older lens has the edge when it comes to sharpness - just. For everyday use the DA is easier and quicker but I still hark back to film days and enjoy the challenge of using a manual lens.
