Hi Simon,
Dunno if it's my computer at work but the type is all over the place, have re-freshed it a few times and still no help.
Image at bottom of screen with gallery titles in top left on dark grey part of screen.
Home, gallery etc bullets very small at bottom of screen, need to scroll down to see them.
Great images by the way, never saw your last site so can't comment on improvement.
Hope it's just my computer!

Hate that silly moving menu on the left. I would move the buttons along the bottom to the top, and have a fixed menu on the left.
In Opera, the title is cut off at the top, and the "powered by Clikpic" is partially obscured at the bottom.
Not overly keen on the slideshow either.
Keep it simple, is my motto.

Next to the Checkout button are the two letters se which don't seem to do anything but distract.
I find the text in "about" actually difficult to read - the dark grey background and black text just don't work, and maybe a slightly larger font would help too. Whilst I am all for a "quiet" website this one seems almost somber.
I don't have alig's problem of needing to scroll - in fact the whole thing seems too high up the screen to me (I use FF3.0.11). The title is touching the top of the frame. A little more space above it would balance things better.
Love the photos of course, but again I'd like to see them just a tad larger.

For those shots posted in portrait format, I have to use the scroll bar on the right to see the bottom of the frame, I wasn't aware that I needed to do this at first and consequently thought some images looked a bit odd in square format with peculiar composition. First impressions count and some may not take the time, or know they have to, scroll.

The photos are great, but the response to slide shows always seems to be the same, people generally don't like them. They don't want to wait patiently but would rather just click on something and go straight to it.
I found the slide shows too slow and I would prefer just to click "Next" when I want to move on.
But, the images are great and nothing else should distract from them.

Thanks everyone for the useful feedback..based on these I've tweaked the site a little more:
Re-positioned Site Title,
edited fonts to make them a little larger
Removed slideshow in galleries, but left pop-up enlargement of thumbnails
Would appreciate further thoughts
thanks

Except for the slideshow, my comments are still valid.
It just doesn't work in Opera, and the moving menu on the left is really unnecessary. Can you move the buttons to the right a bit to allow the menu to flow down the page?
As ever, the actual photos are fine.

George,
Just downloaded Opera to have a look - I see what you mean, text size is completely different..IE allows you to choose different text to suit the website your viewing, can't find it in Opera
It's a big problem when trying to accommodate different browsers I suppose, I'm not web expert and can only use the settings Clikpic allow so not really sure how to resolve it?
thanks

Do you have access to the stylesheet? That's where the problem lies.

Sort of...Clikpic provide lots of parameters that can be changed, text size/borders - too many to mention.Do you have access to the stylesheet? That's where the problem lies.

I think the problem may be I've set the site parameters to suit the "smaller" text size in IE (which I think is default but not 100% sure) It looks like Opera needs them setting for the equivalent of "Medium" text size.

In IE the text size default is Medium. A good web design should aim at the best possible display in standard browser settings. One does not want to change the browser settings to access a particular website, that would certainly reduce the number of visitors.

O.k, changed the settings to suit "Medium text" in IE but although it's better it's still not displaying the home page the same in Opera.
Going through the website functionality again I must admit I quite like the scrolling option for the images, for me it gives the site a more streamline feel - be glad to hear others feedback though
thanks

Oh dear. It's worse. The title has almost disappeared.

Before someone post it this isn't a cheeky way of getting people to visit the site, honestly
thanks
