USB connection and Windows 10

just connected my K3ii to computer for first time since Windows did a big update . the camera did not show up yet put the card into inbuilt card reader and all ok. re installed USB3 host drivers and still the same. went into camera menu and switched to PTP from MSC . camera now shows as a device with camera icon under "This Computer" along with all my other drives and i can now transfer direct from it to computer via cable as i always have. just a heads up really in case anyone else has a problem. have no idea what either MSC or PTP stand for or what the difference is.

I've recently had that monster update but K5, K3ii and K1 upload via cable as they always have done with drives showing as G and H.
