What camera did it possibly come from ? was a battery grip attached ?
Was the shim found directly underneath the camera ? on the floor ? or ......... ?

I'm not sure Chris as I had both the K3 and my fuji on the bed. I found the shim after putting the cameras away.What camera did it possibly come from ? was a battery grip attached ?

Ok, I'll check my K3 later this evening and see if anything looks similar, what was the Fuji camera ?

I can't see anything on my K3 that - were it to get detached - looks like that.

Just a thought - perhaps it's not a bit of camera. Might it have been somewhere else when you put the camera down, somehow got attached to it, then came off when the camera was put on the bed?

Hi Phil,
Apologies, didn't get chance last night to check my K3ii, have done this morning, theres nothing I can see that resembles anything like your image of what may have dropped from the camera, I asked re the Fuji as I have an X100s so cant answer re the X30

On the assumption that none of the various doors were open and there was a lens attached there isn't anything remotely like that on the exterior of a K3.

I found this what looks like a metal shim were my camera had been. Does anyone recognize what it might be ?.
