Hi! I am a new Pentax user and have just got given a K100D digital slr camera. What memory cards should I use and shouldn't use? I want to make sure I get compatible cards and also quality pics.

is it a k100d or a 100d super, if a k100d super these are good,

if a k100d it can only take 2gb max i would use these,

THANKS Scottthehat. Do you recommend any particular lens? Currently have the 18/55 but wonder whether i need anymore for versatility? My first digital SLR lol:

what kind of things do you like taking pics of, if you want an all i one i would say a tamron 18-200mm or the tamron 18-250mm or the pentax version,
i have an 18-200mm and lots of people on the forum 2 and it is very good,
but it all depends on what you want it for and what your budget is,

Probably best to 'see how you go'... you'll soon have an idea whether you want a wider lens, and longer zoom, or even a macro. The 50-200mm Pentax zoom is an obvious choice though, it must be said.

That link just goes to the homepage.
If it is a pentax fit it will fit it. All backdated pentax lenses fit pentax cameras. It should tell you what type of lenses your camera takes in the manual

Yes it the right lens but be aware that Simply Electronics are a grey importer operating out of Hong Kong, see here http://www.simplyelectronics.net/terms.php
