Hi All Just finishing off a DIY Lightbox that i have made .Its the box type with a light either side shining in through the tissue paper covered holes in the box sides , would it be best to use Halogen bulbs , and what power rating would be best to start with please.
Using a K-r with a Sigma 50M F2.8 Macro lens, all on manual, and as a matter of interest why is the inside lined with White card except the back which is Black??? in an arc shape going from back to front Kindest Regards Terry [tickover]

Halogen bulbs will set your tissue paper on fire if they are close. Compact fluorescents would be best and the brightest you can get.

Like these but if you search eBay you'll find similar cheaper link
