Tynemouth, Oct 2016

I never realized there were so many lovely places so close to Newcastle. Here's a lovely morning on the beach and pier at Tynemouth and St Mary's lighthouse. The pier seemed to me to be ideal for B&W; I've added the original colour version of the last one to invite opinions on that! All comments welcome. K-3 and 18-135mm Pentax.

I think I prefer the colour images here, John, as they give me more of the feeling of being there, but to each his own. The mono ones are OK but I think I would like them more contrasty and perhaps taken in more stormy conditions. The patterns on the beach and in the sky of number 3 are very pleasing.
