Unfortunately most of the water had already evaporated by the time I'd finished.

Not sure on this one, the brightness of the blue clashes with the red to my eyes. Maybe a black background? Would look better with a nice covering of water droplets. Compositionally I would have placed one bottom right and the second one top left, the top left one slightly out of focus as well. The lighting is nice and soft though.
My piccies.

Thanks! It's a matter of taste, I think. I posted this pic on another forum and some really like the colour combination, others didn't. Oh well, I had a nice time playing around with it - I do agree re the water droplets though. Will have another go soon. Thanks for your comment - much appreciated!

I've never had much luck with these kind of compositions. I'd say like you already mentioned the water had evaporated and the small remaining droplets are more distracting than benefiting the photo. I'd prefer large droplets and perhaps somebody could drop them for the shoot and you could get some nice effect with slow shutter speed. It can be of course that some pro says exactly the opposite thing as I don't have much experience of this kind of thing. The tomatoes look good. Well, just my 1,99 cents. I hope this wasn't complete nonsense.
Best regards,
Tobio
