Seems a fabulous place to visit. I like your second image best, it seems to better convey the sense of space and connectedness the installation aims for.

It's a long drive to Kalgoorlie then head North on the Goldfields Highway to Menzies. Turn left onto a dirt road - Menzies Sandstone Road, (not on any satnav map) and start counting clicks until you decide where to turn right and hope your in the right place. No mobile reception. An 820Km drive from Baldivis that can be done in a day if you leave early. Stay in Kalgoorlie one night and drive back.
Yup, it rained just before I arrived. My trainers were a right off.
