A super set of images, I particularly like the 3 single stem shots. Lovely dreamy / romantic feel to all of them.

The effect is created in post processing. I use Photoshop CS6. First the image is blurred with Gaussian blur, then using History brush the Tulips are retrieved with varying degrees of opacity. Finally a little bit of glow and sharpening is added with NIK plugins. There may be better ways to create this effect but i follow this.

Thanks for the info Rajhans, interesting, I know Gausian blur is an option in Gimp that I shall have to investigate. The only pp I have experience with is RT, ART, and Gimp really. As being a digital newbie !
