trying on lady's slippers again!

Had a chance to go hunting for these Pink Lady's-Slippers again this afternoon, and managed to do it with mosquitos drawing blood.

This time, found them on the edge of a cluster of fern (ferns?). C&C on these images, and for those that saw yesterday's post, comparisons?

Taken with M 100 4, the first probably at f 4, second probably around f 8ish.

I prefer the less distracting background on the first, but then I prefer the colours in the flower in the second

I actually prefer #1 on the first set. The entire flower in frame is what does it for me.
