These photos were taken at West bay in Dorset using my K-r and the 18-55mm lens it came with. All taken on auto mode till I have a tiniest bit knowledge of what I would be doing on manual. I have lightened them up slightly in picasa as the day was a bit dull. Any comments and pointers would be most welcome. Thanks for looking.

I think the set shows you have an eye for a photograph. Instead of going to full manual, maybe try the Kr in Av mode so you can set different apertures and control the depth of field.

Agree with Barrie try Av mode and stop the lens down a bit to improve DOF
and make it sharper and do not be afraid to up the iso a bit as the Kr can handle it.

Try to include a bit of space around things like the pebbles, and the mooring ring. Going for a large aperture for the mooring ring shot was a good idea to isolate it from the background, but a slightly smaller aperture might have been better as more of the ring would have been in focus, while leaving the background blurry.
