Not quite home yet, but having internet for the 1st time in a week at the hotel means that I have to share some of the fun we had on one of the days that it didn't actually rain or snow!

Will be posting some others when we get home, but in the mean time, would like some thoughts on the following:-

Same shot, processed 3 different ways, for 3 different looks.

The question is which do you prefer and why?

Of course if you would have done something completely different, would love to know!

No 1, because it is in colour, just as nature intended.

I like 3. But I do find the vignetting encroaches a tad upon the bride.

There seems to be some colour cast in the colour version. Therefore I prefer no.2. The sepia suits the bride. No. 3 looks rather dull imo.

Hi Terry, what kind of colour cast do you mean?

PS the dress is pink not white, and it would be a red face due to the cold!

I was more thinking about the slightly bluish front of the dress, at least on my monitor. Still prefer the sepia toning, it appeals to me.

A slightly tweaked (good or bad ?) version. Removed some grass distraction and brought out the bride a little more.

There is definitely a magenta cast in the first one and I find the background too dark and contrasty in all three. It might be worth lightening the green channel in your mono conversion. The dress certainly is over exposed but if you lighten the background a lot and add a white vignette you might get away with it.

The colour version looks a bit too oversaturated to me. I prefer the sepia one, the colouring suits her more. I do feel that she's a bit too close to the left edge of the frame though.
