Hi folks,

Spent part of today exploring some of Melbourne's trash & treasure stores. Found several 49 and 46mm filters at very low prices to suit a number of my Asahi, Takumar, and Zuiko (manual) lenses Also, found a clip-on Asahi Pentax flip-up viewfinder magnifier (together with its original leather case)for a very reasonable price-for local conditions.

Spent the other part of the day reading the paper, swigging coffee, eating cakes AND finishing off a 35 mm film in my Asahi pentax MX.

(I also filled up two 120mm Kodak Portra 400 ISO rolls in my AP6x7, while the Missus did some sketching, but this should go in the MF forum.)

The weather was gorgeous, sunny 28 degs C (exposures of f16 @ 1/500th.)

Ain't vacationing great?

Sunny...? Sunny...? I vaguely remember the word but can't quite remember what it describes any more...

Sunny - isn't that when the clouds are blue?

I've now tried two towns and a small city for camera gear in charity shops and drawn a blank! I reckon it must either be going straight to ebay or being chucked rather than donated.

I got my Program A from the local 2nd hand market..... Charity shops don't seem to have much decent stuff anymore.
K5, K200 and several film Pentax cameras!
