Transferring Warranty

I have recently purchased a used Pentax 16-45 from a forum member (Vikramkeshvala) and am very happy with it and also the way the sale was handled (very quick delivery).

The lens was purchased by Vikram on 19th December 2008 with a camera body from SRS and should have most of the warranty period left to run. Does anyone know how I should get the warranty for the lens only transferred to me, given that they were combined as a package when sold?

Or phone Chris at SRS (as they are a Pro centre).
Direct with Pentax will give you 1yrs warranty. If the camera was bought from a Pro centre you get 2 years
(Pentax UK said a copy of the original receipt would suffice when I questioned them about this last year... in the end I bought what I wanted direct from SRS )
