Damn if it had been the black version you would of had yourself a deal. Been after a 31mm for ages.

yep, the blacks MIJ if I'm correct are much more rare than silver ones....

Hmm, it is tempting. I have a black MIJ 43 and I absolutely love it. I've heard great things of the 31 though so I am tempted.
What sort of price difference are you after and do you have any more details of your 31 (MIJ? When bought? Boxed? Any pictures taken with the lens?)

Hi there, so let's add some details: It is Made in Japan version, like mint condition optically as well as mechanically, comes with original caps, 58mm UV Tokina filter (permanently attached when I shoot outside, so that front element is protected) and unoriginal lens pouch. Not boxed. Bought in winter 2009 if I remember well. If you provide me your email address I'll gladly forward you some photos taken with FA31.

Just so people aren't put off making Kingfisher an offer because I expressed an interest, I've withdrawn. Been reviewing some of my 43 photos and I don't think I can part with it.
The 31 will have to wait for the lottery win...

Thanks James, no bother at all.....I know how good FA43 is and how difficult to let go good luck and hopefully in future you'll add 31 to your set.
