Before Lisbon, we had a few days in the Algarve, on the south coast. Some very windy conditions and rough seas, with lots of cloud and changing light quality, made for great photo opportunities. Hope you find something here to reflect that. All K-3 + DA 16-85.

Great shots of a rugged coastline, powerful waves, and some lovely skies. I think I even managed to spot the odd-one-out!

Number 2 is on top for me also as it is so spectacular - that wave crash looks huge!

Cheers.

+3 or is it 4? An absolute cracker, great timing. The others are also very good, but # 2 stands out for me.

Nice set, I like the way you have portrayed the church in the middle (prayed) and then the weather seams to have calmed down.
C&C welcome.

Thanks for all the comments, folks.
Don, I can't say that there was or wasn't any divine influence on the weather, I just liked the clean lines of the building, but who knows?
No. 2 is my favourite as well - the power of the sea is awesome (in the original meaning of that word!) at times.

Here's one more taken very shortly before no. 2 and cropped quite heavily:

I'm with number 2, too! Lighting and composition are great, and I can feel the power!

Thanks, Sry and Bill, for your comments - a fair amount of luck involved in a shot like no. 2, I think, so extra nice when it comes out as well as it did!
John
