Better with it gone IMHO, hope you don't mind the tiny edit, but I like the closer crop with more DOF much better

Don't mind at all Chris - that's how I learn
You really wouldn't believe how basic my editing skills are - I think I'm fairly good at cropping and balancing out highlights and shadows, but I don't do a great deal more than that.

That's the best way, get it right in camera as much as possible
