I went out a couple of times today to see what was stirring in the garden, here are a few that made the cut for me.

I just couldnt get an angle on this, had to guess where the focus was, she was laying eggs on a nettle in the garden against the wall

After half an hour of trying to keep track and follow different mites, I managed to get one facing forward, but no angle other than from above, I will keep trying, did get an added peeping Tom in this too

Love the 4th one down (one of the bees) and also the last orange spider one

1, 4 & 5 jump out as revealing these little beasties as never seen before! As usual, amazing stealth and steadiness, and superb magnifications.

I'd be inclined to cut the flash power a little, as where there are highlights in front of the insects, these get too much exposure and are quite glaring.

Cheers guys. Much appreciated,
Nigel you may well be right again.
Have you looked at 1.00 on the red spider mite shot. Just at the edge of the petal.

Super bees - especially the purple Goth one
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Great snaps man! I find it terribly hard to even get near an insect let alone take a good stable snap. Great work!
