Getting there Stan. I haven't managed a decent Marsh Harrier shot yet.

Loads of dragons knocking about isn't there. No cuckoo?

Quite good Stan, I don't think the 150-500mm is really
suitable for BIF..... highest I've ever shot was a woodpecker
in hole in a tree popping it's head out

The moon shots very good.

I've never tried close ups with it either although it does
look suitable.
Half Man... Half Pentax ... Half Cucumber

Pentax K-1 + K-5 and some other stuff

Thanks for the encouragement

I think the bird had almost stopped to look at something

The moon shot may well feature in other photos too

This lens seems to be more multi purpose than I thought and with practice (lots) I hope to get some good images.

The moon shot could be quite easy to fake!

I normally use a large orange piece of cardboard with
a yellow disk to fake my sunsets
