Very impressive for 7% of the frame Alan and a beautiful image too. This is where the K-3 pays dividends with quality glass.

Very impressive indeed, both IQ and photographer skill. That 560 is clearly very happy at f8.0. Is the 7% the whole crop Alan or just the subject actually? It would be very interesting to see the uncropped original just to get an idea of the scale involved, if its easy to do for us....

Crop 1,153 x 1,411 = 1,661,473
1,661,473 / 24,064,000 = 0.069, which is near enough 7%
Mike, one of my mates was the for 4am, and it first came in at 4:10. I had a lie in and didn't get there until about 5:30am, by which time it had been in twice already. Do find they are best early morning, and then again late afternoon /evening
