If you sat for to long nature would envelope you


Taken on a misty Mt Macedon north of Melbourne.

I like this, it's caught 'time' for me. So many stories. Who sat there? What did they talk about? Or on their own, just mulling over things... That kind of 'story'. And as you say, 'If you sat for to long nature would envelope you.'

Although not an expert in post editing programs, do you think bringing out / lightening the bench slightly would have helped a tad?

Thanks Kevin for the comment , you are probably right about lighting the seat but not my thing.

Be careful about making the seat stand out more - it could lose that misty, merging into the surroundings/nature about to envelope you feel that it currently has. I rather like it as it is .

Don, I sympathise with your 'not my thing'. I simply can't get my head round the complexities of the big name editing programs. However, that doesn't stop me processing my images. I use a fantastic free program called Faststone Image Viewer. It loads in a couple of seconds and it is absolutely intuitive once you get used to the fact that the controls pop out from the sides of the screen when you move the mouse there. It isn't remotely as powerful as say, Photoshop but it has one big advantage: I can use Faststone - I can't use Photoshop! Give it a go - you've got nothing to lose!
