Lovely little bird and a lovely little shot. I'd prefer to see a bit more space in front of it's head, is it there in the original (uncropped) photo?

I bet you have, but not noticed what they are. If you see several small birds flying busily between trees and they look like balls on the end of sticks, they are long tailed tits.Not sure I've ever seen one of these

That's the difference betwenn a bird watcher snapping an image and a real photographer with image format/designs in mind

Gotta K-3iii now, had a K-S2, K50 and so suffering from a relapse and so buying digital camera kit.
Previous addiction has resulted in using Zeniths, Yashicamat, Chinons, Minoltas, Samsungs, Fujis, Cosina, Kodak, Lumix, Canon, Nikon and Pentax etc etc - have tried most makes in the past 50 years. Love cameras - love taking photos even more

I espied a Long Tailed Tit.
ISO 3200.
Pentax K-S2 with Pentax 55-300mm f4.5-6.3 HD ED DA PLM WR RE etc lens @ 300 (and so, a wee bit of cropping was necessary).
