Out and about his morning, before the storms came.
I espied a Long Tailed Tit.

ISO 3200.
Pentax K-S2 with Pentax 55-300mm f4.5-6.3 HD ED DA PLM WR RE etc lens @ 300 (and so, a wee bit of cropping was necessary).

Gotta K-3iii now, had a K-S2, K50 and so suffering from a relapse and so buying digital camera kit.
Previous addiction has resulted in using Zeniths, Yashicamat, Chinons, Minoltas, Samsungs, Fujis, Cosina, Kodak, Lumix, Canon, Nikon and Pentax etc etc - have tried most makes in the past 50 years. Love cameras - love taking photos even more

Lovely little bird and a lovely little shot. I'd prefer to see a bit more space in front of it's head, is it there in the original (uncropped) photo?

I bet you have, but not noticed what they are. If you see several small birds flying busily between trees and they look like balls on the end of sticks, they are long tailed tits.

Very well done to catch one sitting still for long enough to point a camera at it !
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Cropped but with more room on LHS, as requested.
That's the difference betwenn a bird watcher snapping an image and a real photographer with image format/designs in mind
