Window Seat & View from the Parlour for mine Andrew - the exposures are well done, and the colours very rich without being over-saturated.
The bokeh behind and above the LHS of the pink roses is interesting. It's the only shot where this lens really demonstrates that aspect of its character.

Thanks everyone.
I waited ages for the people to clear the shot, Gareth but the room streward guy was getting a bit stressed so I had to just take the shot. As you may imagine, I've already tried to clone the people out but there's simply not enough material to make a convincing job!

From Bwich Mawr - the great gap, the Severn valley maybe? Or Bwlch Mawr, a mountain on the edge of the Lleyn peninsula?

The name is a misspelling of Bwlchmawr. Which I think means big mountain in Welsh. My son (who is mad about all things Welsh) chose the name and set up this account because I'm rubbish with computers and I can't type accurately either. By the tiem I'd discovered the error it was too late so I left the name as it was!

Ah well it still makes sense in Welsh, just not a mountain but a gap. Since you are in Somerset the Severn Valley is closer than Bwlchmawr so I'd use that meaning .
I like the set. I even like the people in the Path Beyond. people-less photos can look so ....empty, dead . Now it looks like the place is loved and used.

Yes, overall it is nice set. There are some that I like better and some that are not very special for me.

Have you ever tried bracketing and then layer blending to remove objects
rather than cloning??
