I have been a Kr owner for a few years now and have been getting more and more into digital photography along with my fiancee, who likes doing studio portrait stuff and has done a few weddings.

I have to admit to having been lurking around this site for a while, soaking up the information and learning lots but never feeling I had anything to contribute. But I feel I need to get a bit more involved now, especially after picking up a fantastic K5 from the classifieds from forum regular Lennybloke (recommended!) I want to be a part of the community.

So hello and thanks, you have been a wonderful resource to me already!

Oh, and if there is anyone with a specific interest of Motorsport photography, I would love to hear from them!

Thanks!

Hello and Welcome - glad you finally plucked up the courage !

Please don't be afraid to ASK - whatever the question - there will ALWAYS be someone ready with an answer.

It may not be what you wanted but then that is half the fun with this Forum !

I joined 2 years ago when I got my K-r and the people here have been immensely helpful, so, as I said, don't be afraid to ask - you are among friends here.

Meanwhile - don't throw the K-r out - the more you get to know it the more you will appreciate it.

Look forward to seeing your name on some Gallery pics and some threads.

Best wishes
Peter

I have no intention of getting rid of my beloved 'stormtrooper'! The K5 is really for my better-half, the Kr is my plaything and is still far more capable than I am!

Thanks for the welcome everyone, it is very much appreciated!
