Three from a nice weekend

Been up to Newcastle-Upon Tyne this Friday / Saturday on a business trip, then down to Staines in North Yorkshire this afternoon. Needless to say the cameras went with me! Here are three quite different images I managed to grab on the trip, all with the K-5iis.

Gateshead Sunset - DFA 100mm F2.8 Macro

Trespassing in Geordie Land eh! I'll set Barrie on you. Nice set David.

PS: Judging by the first shot it looks like you stayed at the Hilton.

Yeah poaching, they will all be up here if there are more like this on show!

There is an amazing amount of detail packed into the first, I assume down to the Klls

Thanks Barrie, I won't confirm or deny your statement otherwise I'm at risk of another declaration of war on my opinions from a certain keyboard warrior who frequents these parts.

Actually I think this has as much to do with the lens used (DFA 100mm F2.8 Macro) as it does with the camera, but the K-5iis does reward with good quality glass and that lens is a cracker.

Great light well captured in 1 and 3.

No2 was a good spot, but doesn't quite work for me - out of focus figures too dominant?

Number 1 is my favourite
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

Thanks for the observation Steve, you are probably right, just tried something different for this one, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't!

Thanks also Stuey.
