This is a great week

On Sunday my lovely wife gave me my Christmas present early. The balance of the money I needed to buy myself a K20D with DA 16-45 lens. Only had time to play with it a home as work keeps getting in the way, so I'm looking forward to the weekend. And hopefully some nice weather.

Then on Monday I received an email from a designer asking if he could use one of my flickr photo's for a company project he's running.

Basically his firm are personalising their business cards and their creative director wants my photo of Porthcurno Beech in Cornwall on his business card.

And, after an enquiring email, they have offered to pay me to use it. Might only be a small amount but to say I'm chuffed is an understatement.

A couple of nice early presents there. An ego boost is always worth a mint.

Best wishes and well done, Kris.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Thanks Kris. It's always nice when someone else likes your efforts
